Clients must hold a current Australian learner’s permit, drivers licence or an equivalent overseas license and carry it with them during the lesson. The cost of the lesson will be charged if the licence cannot be produced.

Clients must wear closed toe, comfortable shoes suitable for driving (no thongs, slides or high heels)

24 hours notice must be given to cancel or reschedule a booking, or the total lesson fee may be required.

5 days notice must be given to cancel a VORT test, if not the total cost of the pre-drive and use of the vehicle will be required to cover cost of the cancellation.

Payment must be made before lessons unless other arrangements have been made.

Be punctual at the agreed lesson time and location. The instructor will wait up to 15 minutes, if you fail to show or contact the instructor, the lesson will be terminated and charged in full. If you are late, your lesson may be shortened according to avoid disruptions to subsequent students.

We reserve the right to terminate a lesson if the behaviour of the client warrants, for example for reckless behaviour, failure to comply with any directions by the instructor, if the client is deemed unfit to operate a vehicle, suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or acts in an abusive, aggressive or disrespectful manner towards the instructor or other road users. If this occurs full cost of the lesson will be charged.

If any personal items are left in the instructor’s vehicles, the onus is on you for collection. We accept no responsibility for any items.

We reserve the right to reschedule a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances.

Authorised Examiners used for testing are independent of Equality Driving. We accept no responsibility for the outcome of any driving assessment.

The client will be responsible for any traffic infringement notices incurred whilst the students are driving.

The client / learner using an instructor’s vehicle for any driving lesson or assessment, will be responsible for the cost of any repairs relating to damage caused or the applicable insurance cost.

Clients are advised that dash cam will be operating and recording during your lesson and assessment. This is the property of the driving instructor.

Equality Driving is not liable for any claims, loss, damages or harm suffered as a result of booking or attending a lesson with your driving instructor.

Equality Driving reserves the right to update, modify or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

By booking or attending lessons with Equality Driving, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
